Affiliate Disclosure
How this site earns money, and the rules we follow so it never changes what we recommend.
The short version
HowToIncorporateForFree.com is free to read. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links: if you click one and sign up for or buy something, the company may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Who we partner with
We join affiliate programs through networks such as Awin and Impact. As of October 11, 2026, our partners include Bizee (business formation), Novo (business banking), Xendoo (bookkeeping and taxes), Nextiva (business phone) and Nav (business credit). This list changes over time.
Our rules
- The free option comes first. When you can do something yourself for free, such as filing with your state or getting an EIN from the IRS, we show you how before mentioning any paid service.
- Commissions don’t decide recommendations. We recommend services we believe are a good fit for new business owners, whether or not they pay us.
- Paid links are labeled. Guides with affiliate links say so at the top, and those links are marked as sponsored in the page code.
- Facts come from official sources. Fees, deadlines and rules are checked against the IRS, the SBA, FinCEN and state filing offices, never against a partner’s marketing. See our Editorial Policy.
Prices and terms
Partners change their prices, plans and terms. We date every guide and update it when we learn of changes, but always check the partner’s site for current details before you buy.
